Capacity-Building through
Ethics of Care Communication
Capacity-building assesses the distances between what an organization or individual hopes to achieve and where they are – and then bridges the gap by building audience and public awareness, increasing revenue and charitable gifts, maximizing partnerships, and supporting team engagement through improved hiring and retention practices. Tools include market identification and analysis, strategic planning, fundraising, team-building, professional development, communications, outreach and responsible marketing.
Ethics of Care communication is simple: how a thing gets done is as important as getting it done. We operate with each other, our partners, audience and the public with full transparency rooted in loving kindness. We commit to meaningfully and intentionally enacting the principles of Access, Belonging, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
The goal and the method always connect individuals with the
valuable information and opportunities
that they need to live their best lives.
A passion for service
My capacity-building skills are available to any individual or team with a mission to advance the public good.
If we work together, we commit to the following principles:
Ethics of Care, Everywhere
Our work together – communications, strategy, outreach, team leadership – is performed entirely within a framework of Ethics of Care. This requires absolute transparency from both sides.
Do No Harm
We take only what we need from, and put only positivity back into, the world.
Human(e) Resources
Operational efficiency need not have poor individual outcomes. Working relationships must acknowledge staff limitations while honoring and supporting individual talents.
A boutique approach
Spend the time to get it right on the first try.
Strategic Consulting
Honest, transparent perspective. Executive support. Complete strategic planning for outreach, restructuring, or operations enhancement.
Interim Leadership
Hand over the reins of your advancement, communications, partnership, hiring, customer service or operations department/initiatives to focus on other priorities.
Architectural Solutions
You need an update or implementation of a CRM for clients, students, donors, members? Done.
