What stands between you and your efforts to make the world a better place?

Whether you can see the challenges but aren’t able to identify a solution, don’t like the solutions you’ve come up with on your own, or can’t figure out what’s holding your organization back from reaching its full potential, a conversation with someone who understands will make you feel better.

And then we figure out how to move forward.

Using a systematic, Ethics of Care approach, we will discuss your needs and I will propose a strategy for meeting them which may include evaluation and assessment of organizational systems; identifying, hiring, training, and restructuring/reorganizing talent; development and implementation of client/customer support data systems; idea generation and iteration to ignite new streams of opportunity and revenue; and leadership support for Executive Directors and Board Chairs in challenging situations.

Ethics of Care

Ethics of Care communication is simple: how a thing gets done is as important as getting it done. We operate with each other, our partners, audience and the public with full transparency rooted in loving kindness. We commit to meaningfully and intentionally enacting the principles of Access, Belonging, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Capacity-Building

Capacity-building assesses the distances between what an organization or individual hopes to achieve and where they are – and then bridges the gap by building audience and public awareness, increasing revenue and charitable gifts, maximizing partnerships, and supporting team engagement through improved hiring and retention practices. Identifying the pain points in systems, optimizing and finding talent, and building new (or fixing broken) systems are the first steps to helping you make change. The tools we use include market identification and analysis, strategic planning, fundraising, team-building, professional development, communications, outreach and responsible marketing.

Our Mutual Commitment

Our work together – communications, strategy, outreach, team leadership – is performed entirely within a framework of Ethics of Care. This requires absolute transparency from both sides. We take only what we need from, and put only positivity back into the world. Finally, we acknowledge the humanity of our human resources. Operational efficiency need not have poor individual outcomes. Working relationships must acknowledge limitations while honoring and supporting individual talents.

Trusted Colleagues

Where I am unable to provide a service, I refer organizations to the following trusted colleagues:

I respectfully acknowledge that the land I live and work on is the unceded territory of the Wampanoag and Massachusett peoples and affirm their inherent and treaty rights to the land. History is not irrelevant to the painful present that all residents of the United States of America share. Repairing the present begins with understanding the past and creating dialogue which includes, but is not limited to, an acknowledgement that all current political and social systems are built on the faultlines of genocide and enslavement.
